What's the best way to KICK off the start of fall and the end of a successful gardening season? Why, with the soccer team, of course!
On Friday, September 28, 2018, Gilmour Academy's boys' soccer team volunteered after school at the Ben Franklin Community Garden for a team service day. These boys worked hard! For two hours, team members worked nonstop harvesting in our potato fields, cutting vines along the Garden's entrance, or washing previously harvested potatoes to send to the hunger centers.
At the end, coaches agreed that a team service day with M.A.D. Club will be a new tradition for years to come!
Great work, Lancers! M.A.D. Club is wishing you the best of luck for the rest of the athletic season!
